Advancing Reliability Web Workshop #5: Maintenance Study/Steering Group and Later Revelations Concerning Failure Profiles vs. Conditional Probability of Failure by Jack Nicholas Jr.

Please join Jack Nicholas Jr., Author of Advancing Reliability and Maintenance (3rd Edition) in the 5th web workshop in a series of 12 workshop scheduled for 2008.

Important Note: There is no fee for this web workshop - however participants must dial in using a telephone (long distance charges may apply from your phone company) to hear the presentation.

In the web workshop Jack discusses:

* The Revelations of the Maintenance Steering Group relating to the nature of failure
* How equipment fails
* Bathtub curve type failures
* Determining the probability of failure
* Why Run-To-Failure is an acceptable strategy
* Condition directed tasks


The presented material will last 50-55 minutes with extra time (30-45 minutes) set aside for questions and answers. Please allow extra time to attend if you are interested in participating in the question and answer sessions.

There are two requirements to participate:

1) You must dial-in to the telephone conference call number provided in order to "hear" the presentation

2) You must log onto the web page link provided to "see" the presentation
