New Standard Institute Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Founded in 1990, New Standard Institute has presented over 1000 Maintenance Management seminars, for more than 20,000 attendees, worldwide. In addition, thousands of copies of President Michael V. Brown’s books have been sold and distributed over the past 6 years, and innumerable people have participated in New Standard’s interactive training software programs.

We have always focused on customer service, stated Michael V. Brown, Trying to anticipate what our clients will be looking for in upcoming months and then designing training programs that will suit their needs. That is what makes this work most interesting and satisfying.

I enjoy going to clients’ facilities on the consultations, or meeting them at our seminars, says Project Coordinator Tessa Marquis. That is where I find out the most about their interests and concerns. Then I go back to the office and work with our talented designers and programmers to customize our
products. The past 20 years has sped by!

Web- and Computer-Based training programs spearheaded by Senior Software Engineer Michael Konopka have been consistent award winners and have been noted for the programs’ ease of use and depth of content. Recently, Konopka’s team has also produced custom training programs for Target, ArcelorMittal, EnCana and several other major companies in the US and Canada.
