Maintenance Tips for Mechanical Seal Installation

- Lock the Mechanical Seal locking collar screws after completing the shaft axial displacement adjustments, shaft alignment procedure. It helps to keep the seal faces from getting damaged.
- Keep all ports on the gland plate properly plugged when mechanical seal is installed on the shaft. Remove plugs when ready to connect ports to external seal piping.
