Root Cause Analysis Champions
May 20, 2009
RCA Champions
To embed a root cause analysis program throughout an organization an RCA champion can play a vital role. The RCA champion should be at a senior level, be well versed in RCA concepts, and provide necessary organizational exposure to ensure that all parts of the organization recognize the business benefit of eliminating recurring problems. Sometimes people need to know they are “allowed” to solve problems. Often the best way to encourage this is through building an effective business case. When senior management show support, others will get the idea!
